Mags "Beep Bop" Carter

About this mod

Replace Mags Carter’s spoken dialogue with expressive original Droid chatter: bubbly beeps, questioning whistles, grumbles, combat bursts and exaggerated panicked squeals. Each replacement follows its line’s timing, pauses and intensity. Gameplay and cutscene dialogue are covered; separate breathing, grunts, Foley and mixed cinematic effects are outside this pack’s scope. Subtitles and other characters’ dialogue are unchanged. Choose ONE voice-language download: English (US) v0.2.0, Italian v0.3.0, Spanish (Latin America) v0.3.1, or Spanish (Spain) v0.3.1. Each pack contains 2,967 replacements; localized packs include 173 required English fallbacks and do not need the English download too. Steam build 25922417: offline asset, audio and container checks passed. English and Italian retain their accepted payloads; Latin American Spanish updates one changed recording. Spain Spanish is a separate timing-matched pack. Post-patch gameplay/listening remains unverified. Historical gameplay and cutscene spot checks passed for English, Italian and Latin American Spanish on build 25724756. Spain Spanish has not had an in-game listening check. This is the first part of a planned comedy voice series; this release replaces Mags only.

Install & remove

1. Close E-Day. In Steam > E-Day > Properties, select the voice language matching your download and wait for official language files to finish downloading. 2. Install ONE Mags Droid pack only. Disable an old manager-controlled pack and deploy, or remove only its three MagsDroidVoice files from ~mods. Keep other mods. 3. Extract the matching ZIP. Steam > right-click E-Day > Manage > Browse local files. Open FairlightConcept\Content\Paks and create ~mods if needed. 4. Copy ALL THREE matching .pak, .utoc and .ucas files from the ZIP directly into FairlightConcept\Content\Paks\~mods. Keep supplied filenames; never mix language packs or versions or replace original pakchunk files. 5. Launch normally through Steam. Check a scene where Mags speaks. To update: close the game and replace all three matching files together. To uninstall or change language: remove only the installed pack’s three files, then install the matching new pack. Keep an older ZIP for rollback. If Mags still speaks normally, check the game language, three-file placement, game build and overlapping Mags voice mods. Vortex users with working E-Day game support may import one ZIP, enable and deploy; live Vortex deployment is unverified. No special launch options or bypass is included.

Requirements
